Car Wash TODAY!

CAR WASH UPDATE - The car wash will be from 2 to 6pm TODAY at the BP station in McLean (1423 Chain Bridge Rd).  See you there!

Summer Break

The Falcons will not be holding regular Saturday morning practices for he remainder of July and for the month of August.  Enjoy your summer break!  See you in September for the beginning of basketball season!!

Golf this Saturday

This Saturday we will be learning about and playing golf at the Twin Lakes Driving Range (6201 Union Mill Road  Clifton, VA 20124).  We have a local golf pro, John Nicholas, leading practice.  He will be bringing his adapted golf cart.  For more information about him, please visit his website (http://adaptedgolf.wordpress.com/bio/). 

Practice will be from 9-11am. Make sure to bring your water bottle!!

New T-Shirts

The new team t-shirts are ready.  They look great! Cassells did a great job cleaning up the old logo for the team.

Lacrosse Clinic this Saturday

This Saturday we will be playing lacrosse at the James Lee Community Center from 9-11am. We have two people leading practice that played lacrosse in college and for the Dutch National team. To see pictures of the lacrosse clinic held last year, click here.

This Saturday we will be playing floor hockey from 9-11am at the James Lee Community Center. See you there!

Car Wash!

The Falcons Car Wash is this Saturday from 9am-3pm at the BP gas station in McLean (1423 Chain Bridge Road, McLean, VA). We will be raising money for tournaments fees and to purchase new equipment. Extra volunteers to help wash cars are needed. Please let us know if you are able to help out. See you there!

Wheelchair Sports Open House this Saturday

Wheelchair Sports Open House this Saturday from 10-Noon at Irving Middle School (8100 Old Keene Mill Springfield, VA 22152). Come check out the Fairfax Falcons Paralympic Sports Team and the Northern Virginia Power Soccer Team.

Health and PE Expo

PWCS All County Health and Physical Education Expo

The Falcons will have a booth at the PWCS All County Health and Physical Education Expo. It will be held on Saturday, May 12 from 10 a.m.–2 p.m. at the Pfitzner Stadium Complex, 7 County Complex Ct.

Combined Practice with the Charlottesville Cardinals

Last Basketball Practice for the Season

Basketball practice this Saturday is from 9-11am at the James Lee Community Center. The majority of practice will be two games -- One game will be against the team volunteers/coaches and the other will be against parents.

If you are interested in playing on the parent team, please let us know so we can coordinate equipment for you to use.

We will have our end of year awards during the last 30 minutes of practice. We will also distribute the spring/summer schedule.

Demo at Drew Model Elementary

We had a great time at Drew Model Elementary School demonstrating different adapted sports and playing a wheelchair basketball game against some of the teachers and administrators. 

Wheelchair Basketball Open House & Clinics

FREE at the Jewish Community Center of Northern Virginia

Adult Players
Following the clinics, we will begin to build a JCCNV adult wheelchair basketball team based on interest and ability level. We are also looking for a coach/team captain for the adult team, please contact Jessica Tischler if you’re interested.

Scrimmage with the Komets

The Falcons will be scrimmaging the Komets from Philadelphia this Saturday at the James Lee Community Center (2855-A Annandale Road, Falls Church, Virginia 22042) from 9:30am - 2:00pm.  Come out and cheer the team on!

Charlottesville Cardinals - Combined Practice

Basketball practice this Saturday is from 9:30-NOON at the James Lee Community Center. It will be a combined practice with the Charlottesville Cardinals Adult Wheelchair Basketball team.

Globetrotters Fan Experience

The Falcons went to see the Harlem Globetrotters play at the Verizon Center today. Before the game the team met two of the players - Too Tall and Jet.

NVTC March Madness Game

FCPS Cluster VI Family Resource Night

The Fairfax Falcons Paralympic Sports Team will have a table at the Fairfax County Public Schools Cluster VI Family Resource night on Thursday, March 22nd at Lake Braddock Secondary School.  Come learn more about the team and other resources in the area.

March Madness Wheelchair Basketball Game

The Fairfax Falcons will be playing a March Madness wheelchair basketball game Friday, March 24th for the residents of the Northern Virginia Training Center.  Players of all ages are welcome to play.  Sign up by clicking on the button below.

Scrimmage with Richmond Sportable

The Falcons will be scrimmaging the Richmond Sportable wheelchair basketball team this Saturday at Holmes Middle School (6525 Montrose Street, Alexandria, VA 22312) from 10am-2pm.
