The Falcons Prep team is headed to Nationals in Louisville, Kentucky this year! Their first game is Thursday, April 16th at 10:30AM against the Grand Rapids Pacers. Go, Falcons!

Bennett Blazers Wheelchair Basketball Tournament

Way to go Falcons Prep! They won the JV division at the Bennett Tournament this weekend. The Falcons 10 ft team placed 4th in the Varsity division.

Way to Go, Falcons!

The Falcons put up a great fight at the tournament this weekend in Baltimore!  The JV team had two wins - one versus the NJ Nets and the other versus Katie's Komets.  The prep/novice team participated in their second tournament and had their first win versus Bennett.  It was a tough game, but in the end they won 22-20.  Way to go!!

Practice - February 1

We will hold basketball practice this Saturday from 9-noon at the James Lee Community Center.  JV will practice from 9-11 and prep/novice will practice from 10-noon.

Wheelchair Basketball 2013

We are off to a great start this year.  Our basketball season began September 7th.  Last week the prep team scrimmaged the Bennett Blazers in Baltimore, Maryland.  This upcoming Saturday the JV team will scrimmage the Sportable Spokes from Richmond, Virginia.  Come out to support the team.  The scrimmage will begin at 10:30 at Irving Middle School (8100 Old Keene Mill Rd, Springfield, VA 22152).

Combined Practice Today

Today the team was able to play wheelchair basketball with a team from Turkey through the Sports Visitors program with the U.S. State Department.  It was a great experience.  Thank you to everyone that participated!

Great hustle this weekend, Falcons! We ended the tournament on a great note with a 15-19 win against the New Jersey Nets JV team.  More pictures to come!

 

 

Katie Kirlin Wheelchair Basketball Tournament THIS WEEKEND

The Falcons JV team will be playing at the Katie Kirlin Wheelchair Basketball Tournament this weekend at the High School of the Future (4021 Parkside Ave. Philadelphia, PA 19104). They will play Friday night at 7:00PM, Saturday at 10:30AM and 1:30PM, and Sunday at 10:30AM. GO, FALCONS!!
