Let's Catch Some Fish!
Next Saturday (July 17th) we will be fishing from 8:30-10:30 am at Burke Lake Park (7315 Ox Rd. Fairfax Station, VA 22039). Please enter the park through the Virginia Fish and Game Entrance instead of the main entrance and park in the gravel lot. We meet near the boat launch ramp and then move as a team to a fishing area (see the map below).
We will be fishing from platforms and/or the shoreline. If you have equipment to share with the team, please let us know so that we can ensure that all participants have equipment. Possible items include fishing rods, hooks, bobbers, old rags/towels, and camping/beach chairs. The team will provide the bait and have some additional equipment.
